Day 1: Board Kanchankanya Express (13149) for Hasimara at 08:30 P.M.
Day 2: Arrival at Hamara. Transfer to Jaigaon hotel. Freshen up & take lunch. In the evening Phuentsholing local sightseeing (Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang, Karbandi Monastery, Bhutan Gate, Hanging Bridge). Overnight Stay at Jaigaon/ Phuentsholing.
Day 3: Phuentsholing to Thimphu Transfer. Make Tourist permit at Phuentsholing Immigration Office and transfer to Thimphu, (which is Approx. 6 Hours/ 172 Km from Phuentsholing town) Thimphu is the capital and largest city of Bhutan. It has a population of 104,200, En-route see Water Falls, Buddha Point & Tala Dam (Top View). Check-In at Hotel & Overnight Stay at Thimphu.
Day 4: Thimphu to Punakha to Excursion and Back to Thimphu. Morning transfer to Punakha, it is approximately 90 kilometers and is nearly 03Hrs driver from Thimphu. En-route visit 1) Dochu la Pass, 2) Chhimi Lhakhang, 3) Punakha Dzong, 4) Suspension Bridge (Longest Bridge in Bhutan) and Night stay at Thimphu.
Day 5: After Breakfast Thimphu half day Sightseeing Visit: – 1) Durga Temple/Shiv Temple, 2) Coronation Park, 3) Takin Zoo (National Animal of Bhutan), 4) Memorial Chorten, 5) Folk Heritage Museum, 6) Handicrafts & Textile Museum, 7) Tashicchhoe Dzong (Thimphu Dzong) & 8) Simply Bhutan (Traditional Culture Program). Transfer to Paro (lunch on the way). Night Stay at Paro.
Day 6: Paro Full day Sightseeing or Day Hike to Tiger Nest. Morning Visit – 1) Drukgyal Dzong (Presently closed for Tourist), 2) Tiger Nest Monasteries (Viewpoint), 3) Ta Dzong (Paro Museum), 4) Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), 5) Kichu Lhakhang Monastery.
Optional – Hike to Tiger Nest Monastery (Hike uphill will take around 2/3 Hrs on way)
Paro Taktsang is a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and the temple complex is located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley in Bhutan.
A temple complex was first built in 1692, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup cave where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours in the 8th century. Padmasambhava is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan and is the tutelary deity of the country. Today, Paro Taktsang is the best known of the thirteen Taktsang or “tiger lair” caves in which he meditated. Night Stay at Paro.
Day 7: After breakfast visit Chelea Pass (13,083 ft.). Back to hotel & take lunch. Evening free activity. Night stay at Paro.
Day 8: After Breakfast Checkout from Paro Hotel and transfer to Alipurduar. On the way lunch. Same day train for Kolkata.
Day 9: Arrived Sealdah in the Morning.
